While reading through some tweets I noticed a project that Google is working on called What do You Love? it can be found at http://www.wdyl.com/. To test it out I typed in “Thomas Edison” and I was presented with all of Google’s services with the relevant content.
WDYL even found things like patents that had to do with Thomas Edison, videos about Thomas Edison, and even a 3d phonograph from 1877 built in Google Sketchup. This is a project that is still being worked on as some of the search results don’t make sense. I can see a lot of potential in the future for educational uses. Definitely keep an eye on this project. Check it out!
Here is a video about Google WDYL:
How could you use this in your class room?
Thanks
